How to move your shopping lists from OurGroceries to Cartomi
You do not have to start over when switching from OurGroceries. Export your shopping lists and item history, then import them directly into Cartomi.
1. Export from OurGroceries
Open OurGroceries and find the export feature. Download the ZIP file with your lists.
2. Keep the ZIP file
Keep the file as a ZIP. Do not unpack it before you import it into Cartomi.
3. Import into Cartomi
Open Cartomi and choose “Import lists” in the menu. Select OurGroceries, upload the ZIP file, review the preview, and complete the import.
4. Continue in Cartomi
Your lists are created in Cartomi, and your item history powers personal suggestions.
What is transferred?
Transferred: shopping lists, items (including notes and checked-off status), and item history with usage counts.
Not transferred: recipes, photos, categories, and star marks.
Existing Cartomi data is not deleted. The original ZIP file is not stored permanently.
Ready to switch?
Open Cartomi and import your OurGroceries export when you are ready.
